This document governs the operational terms, site usage, and data privacy practices for North West Resin Flooring Specialists Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"). By requesting a quote, booking a site survey, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Privacy Policy.
1. Terms & Conditions of Business
1.1 Quotations & Scope of Work
All itemised quotations provided by North West Resin Flooring Specialists Ltd are valid for 30 days from the issue date. Quotes are generated based on the site survey, square meterage ($m^2$), and subfloor condition specified. Any unforeseen subfloor defects (e.g., severe moisture ingress, deep structural cracking, or unbonded screeds) discovered during mechanical diamond grinding may require remedial work and additional cost approval before proceeding.
1.2 Payment Terms & Deposits
A deposit is required to secure project dates and order specialized resin materials. The remaining balance must be settled upon project completion, following a final handover inspection. Invoice payments late by more than 14 days may incur statutory interest charges under UK commercial debt legislation.
1.3 Site Access & Client Preparation
Clients are responsible for ensuring the project area is fully cleared of furniture, vehicles, and debris prior to our team's arrival. Adequate power (240V / 32A depending on machinery) and clean water access must be provided on-site. Delays caused by uncleared work areas or lack of power access may incur downtime charges.
1.4 Bespoke Finishes & Curing Times
Metallic resin and microcement installations are hand-manipulated artisan finishes. While we follow strict pigment mixing ratios, natural variations in swirl pattern, marble movement, and tone are inherent characteristics of bespoke liquid art floors. Curing times must be strictly respected: light foot traffic after 24–48 hours and full mechanical/vehicle loading after 5–7 days.
1.5 Guarantees & Liability
All resin systems installed over properly prepared, diamond-ground subfloors carry our standard workmanship guarantee. Guarantees do not cover subfloor movements caused by structural building settling, post-installation ground movement, or mechanical damage resulting from dragging unprotected heavy machinery or failure to follow aftercare guides.
